1. Speaking tutorial.

You will use this structure in your speaking tutorial:

1. Greetings and chat.
2. Questions or comments about your written work or feedback.
3. Conversation. Choose one of the two alternatives.
   
   Alternative 1 – Recent news and family
   1. The topics may include:
      • What has been happening in your life lately? Think about your work, studies and family.
      • Tell your tutor about your family.
      • Who are the oldest and youngest members of your family?
      • Do you have a big or a small family?
      • Do you prefer big or small families? Why?
      • Do you see your family often?
      • Is your family a typical family for your country?
      • Is family important for you? Why / Why not?
   2. Ask your tutor questions about his/her family.
      
      
   Alternative 2 – Getting in touch
   1. Have you ever lost touch with somebody and then found them again?
   2. Ask your tutor the same question.
      
      
4. General questions about your studies or the course.
