Qualifying adverbs
Words like virtually,
relatively, probably
and generally can be used to qualify statements
and to make them less assertive, and therefore more acceptable.
  - The Internet offers a virtually unlimited
    source of information. 
 
  -  The quality of interaction is generally much
    better in an online course.
 
  -  These days, most cell phones are relatively
    easy to use.
 
  -  Pay-as-you-go phones are probably the best
    choice for the occasional user.
