Words like virtually, relatively, probably and generally can be used to qualify statements and to make them less assertive, and therefore more acceptable.

• The Internet offers a virtually unlimited source of information.
• The quality of interaction is generally much better on an online course.
• These days, most mobile phones are relatively easy to use.
• Pay-as-you-go phones are probably the best choice for the occasional user.
