1. Past participles as adjectives.

Kevin collects found photos.

A found photo is a photo that has been found. Found is a past participle that is used as an adjective.

Found photos are those photos that turn up in junk shops or in the hidden compartments of used furniture or lying on the floors of deserted houses.

Use the word in brackets to make a past participle that describes the objects.

2. Past participles after nouns.

“My all-time favourite is a photo taken sometime in the ’50s.”

This is a shorter way of saying ...a photo which was taken….

Delete words in the sentences to make noun + past participle combinations.
