With reference to your suggestion that we postpone the product launch by a couple of weeks to give us more time to prepare, my answer is as follows. Although I agree that ideally it would be better to have more time, I feel that the preparations are at a stage now that any further delay would result in a bit of a logistical headache. Too many of the outsourced tasks have already been implemented to warrant further delay. I’m sure that you and your department are more than capable of rising to the challenge of having everything ready in time for the launch.
