			Football is played on a pitch, which can be between 90 and 120 metres long. The goals have to be 7.32 metres wide and 2.44 metres high. The players kick the ball to try to score a goal. They can also hit the ball with their head, but they can’t use their hands. The referee is responsible for the game and has to check that all the players follow the rules. If a player does not follow the rules he can get a yellow or red card. If a player gets a red card, he has to leave the pitch.
