Choose one of the jobs from START exercise 1 or VOCABULARY exercise 6. Write a description of the daily routine of a person who does that job. Don't write the name of the job.

Can the other students guess which job you are describing?

Post your description in the Forum. Try to guess which jobs other students have described.

2. Daily routines.

Answer the questions.

1. When do you get up?
2. When do you go to work?
3. Do you work all day or only in the morning or the afternoon?
4. When do you finish work?
5. What do you do in the evening?

Post your description in the Forum. Read the answers of your classmates. Can you find anyone who has a similar daily routine to you?

3. Adjectives and jobs.

Look at the adjectives from VOCABULARY exercise 8. Which of the jobs from START exercise 1 and VOCABULARY exercise 6 do you associate with some of the adjectives? Post your answers in the Forum.

I think a nurse's job is rewarding because they help people who are ill.
In my country a teacher is low-paid.
