Now take hold of your left elbow with your right hand and gently push the elbow so that your hand moves down between your shoulders. Stretch as far as you can comfortably go and hold this position for about five seconds. This exercise is designed to stretch the arm, shoulder and upper back. Repeat twice with each arm.
Exercise 2 You can do this exercise sitting or standing. Put your arms straight out in front of you at about shoulder height. Relax. Now gently bend your wrists and raise your hands. Carefully stretch the hands back as far as they will go. Make sure you keep your fingers straight and relaxed. Hold this position for a couple of seconds and then stretch back a little bit more.
