Be/get used to

Use these forms to talk about things you are or aren't familiar with.

• I am used to getting up early.
• I am not used to staying up late.
• When I went to the United States I was not used to eating big meals.
• After six months I got used to eating big meals.

be used to = be accustomed to something already
get used to = become accustomed over time
