Transcript for "Found Photos"

1. This photo looks as if it was taken in the countryside, on a walk maybe. There’s a dog in the foreground. In the distance there are some trees, there’s a clear sky – nice weather, but it looks as if it was cold because the people are wearing winter clothes. There are three of them in the kind of middle distance standing around a pile of stones – it seems to be a ruin of some kind. And the people seem to have been collecting plants – they’re holding bunches of plants, herbs maybe.
   
   
2. OK in this photo, I can see two men in the foreground. They look as though they’re hiking somewhere – they’re wearing hiking clothes and carrying big backpacks on their backs. And they look as if they’ve stopped to admire the view because they’re looking into the distance. We can see a large sort of woods area behind them, and in the far distance we can see what look like some hills, but they’re covered in mist so you can’t actually see them very well. There’s also some sort of monument – it looks as though it could be an old castle or something – on some rocks behind them, on the right of the picture.
   
   
3. This is a picture of two men on what looks like a trek in the mountains. One man is standing behind the other, sort of leaning in to be in the picture. Both of the men are on the right of the photo. One in– the one in the foreground is holding his walking stick, and he seems a bit tired. The– in the distance is a big rock, it’s also in the center of the photo, and behind it are some white wispy clouds and blue sky. In the foreground I can see some grass and there’s also the beginning of a fence made out of sticks and wire and some rocks underneath it.
   
   
4. Well, it’s a photo of the countryside. There are a lot of trees in the distance. They’re eucalyptus trees, so maybe this is in New Zealand or Australia. In the foreground there’s a tree on the right, and in the center of the photo there’s a man sitting on a large log. It looks like it’s winter because the man’s wearing a jacket and the grass is very green. And there’s a dog sniffing the man’s shoe. He doesn’t seem scared of the dog, so maybe it’s his dog. And the dog seems pretty happy, too.
