5. Read and draw.

Read the descriptions and then use the elements below to draw the pictures on your notepad.

First make this picture.

Description 1:
There is a thick line in the centre of the picture. Above and below the thick line there is a zigzag line. On either side of the thick line is a circle. Above the right circle is an oval shape and below the left circle is a star shape.

Now, compare your picture with the correct one.

Now make this more complex picture.

Description 2:
The star-shaped object is in the centre of the picture. On the left of the star there's a circle and on the right there's an oval-shaped object. Above the star is a wavy line. On the right of the wavy line there's a triangle and on the left a heart-shaped object. Between the heart-shaped object and the circle there's a broken line. Below the star there's a rectangle and on either side of the rectangle there's a thick line. Vertically between the oval-shaped object and the thick line is a dotted line and between the oval-shaped object and the triangle is a criss-cross line. Vertically between the circle and the thick line is a zigzag line.

Now, compare your picture with the correct one.

6. Matching.

Match the lines and shapes to the words that describe them.
