Tanya Stokes
Tanya was born in Kent, but spent most of her childhood in Essex. She took a degree in philosophy at the University of Sussex, and then spent the next few years teaching English in various countries, including France, Italy and Germany. She eventually settled in Lisbon, where she took the University Diploma in English language teaching. A short time later she became director of the In-House school in Lisbon. Two years after that she was appointed marketing director for the In-House Portuguese Group of schools.
