Phrasing and stress

Lie on your back on the floor.

1. Phrasing.

Listen to these instructions. Mark the places where the speaker pauses by selecting the word before the pause.

 

2. Phrasing.

Now listen again and mark the stressed word in each phrase. The first one has been done for you.

3. Practice.

Here is another set of instructions. Decide where the pauses should be, and where the main stress is in each phrase.
