2. Adjective forms.
What are the adjective forms for the nouns in the previous exercise? The first one has been done for you as an example.
3. Describing shapes.
If something is shaped like a heart, it is "heart-shaped" (adjective). Use the words in the table to describe the pictures below.

1: There is a thick line in the centre of the picture. Above and below the thick line there is a zigzag line. On either side of the thick line is a circle. Above the right circle is an oval shape and below the left circle is a star shape. |

Now make this more complex picture.

2: The star-shaped object is in the centre of the picture. On the left of the star there's a circle and on the right there's an oval-shaped object. Above the star is a wavy line. On the right of the wavy line there's a triangle and on the left a heart-shaped object. Between the heart-shaped object and the circle there's a broken line. Below the star there's a rectangle and on either side of the rectangle there's a thick line. Vertically between the oval-shaped object and the thick line is a dotted line and between the oval-shaped object and the triangle is a criss-cross line. Vertically between the circle and the thick line is a zigzag line. |
